Do you accept donations? How do I donate?

We love donations! Donations is one of the main ways we stay in business :) If you have a few books or just a single box, you can bring the donation anytime during business hours. If you have a lot of books or multiple boxes, we have a small loading area right outside the back of our store. In between the southwest doors and the dumpster area there is a single parking area which you can pull in and then give us a call at 801-917-5545 and we can come open up our back room and help you unload! If you have a huge excess of books and live within the Ogden area, we might be able to do a pickup as well! Call us at 801-917-5545 and talk to us about that option.
Do you offer a trade in program?

We currently don't offer a trade in program.
Where are you located?

We are located inside Newgate Mall which is at 3651 Wall Ave, Ogden UT. The store is on the south side of the mall close to the entrance of the movie theater.
I'm an author. How do I get my book into your store?

Send us an email at: thebooknookut@gmail.com with details on price point, info about the book etc and we'd love to talk to you more about it!
Do you buy books?

We buy highly sought after books (think Harry Potter, Stephen King, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc.). We also sometimes buy vintage or rare books. We also will buy large lots of books (over 50). We will also sometimes consider other books. The best way to get an answer or quote about this is to send us an email: thebooknookut@gmail.com Please send what books you are selling including title and author, condition of book, year published and ideally a picture of them and we can let you know if we'd buy them or not and what price we can offer.
Are you hiring?

We usually have 1 staff member working at a time and low turnover so we don't hire very often but if we ever do, keep an eye out on our Facebook page!
What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Can I request a book?

Yes! In general it'll take us a 1-2 week turnaround time frame for us to find your book at a good price, get it to our store and prepare it for sale. Send us a message if you are looking for a specific book and would like us to order it!
